Levels of Evidence and the
What Works Clearinghouse (WWC)

Educational organizations seek to improve results by selecting strategies for improvement, but how do we know if there is evidence that supports the use of our selected strategies? The What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) is one tool that assists educators in selecting proven strategies.

We provide consulting services and training on the following:

  • How to use the WWC for selecting strategies for improvement.

  • The differences between strong evidence, moderate evidence, promising evidence, and demonstrating a rationale (logic model), and how to develop evidence of efficacy for your educational program's goals.

  • The development of Logic Models and Leading Indicators to clarify program goals, and how to use these "one-pagers" for internal and external stakeholders.
